Spanish Club!

Sometimes when I’m in a good mood when teaching I get a little goofy, and lately have been speaking to the kids in Spanish for a second. This always gets their attention and then they want to know what I said. Lately the students have seemed to realize that I can actually speak quite a bit of Spanish and have taking to asking me how to say certain things.

When I realized that there was actually a legitimate interest in Spanish I decided to start a Spanish Club. So far it is going pretty well, and it is so fun to actually teach kids who want to learn again! I had almost forgotten what that was like. I only wish that I had known earlier in the year that students were interested.

So far I am just going over the basics with them, but they already seem to have plans for a play in the works. Who knows? Perhaps we will do a Spanish play. I’ll keep you posted.
