Shrieking Eels

Saturday night Rosemary and I stayed over at Julia’s and we decided that we would all head over to hang out at Sliding Rock for a while in the afternoon. On the way we picked up Thanh and Cynthia and spent a lovely few hours chatting a relaxing while staring at the ocean. At one point it was just Cynthia and I sitting near an area when the waves ran up a channel between two jutting rock faces. As we were talking something caught my eye down in the water between the rocks and lo and behold it was a moray eel. Being the nerd I am Cynthia and I went and sat closer and just watched it swim and an forth in the waves.

I love nature-y moments.
